Daily Memphian: MSCS board approves $12.3M in property sales, finalizes new buildings team

Memphis-Shelby County Schools board members took steps Tuesday, June 24, to sell some property and develop a plan for closing and consolidating other school buildings.

Board members approved $12.3 million in sales, including the $9 million sale of Gray’s Creek, an administration building near the northeast edge of the school district’s boundary along U.S. 64. The building will go to Industrial Capital Holdings, LLC, as warehouse space.
